Amphenol CMT is looking for a Cable Equipment Maintenance Engineer to lead our technical team and ensure equipment running smoothly with the best cost and efficiency.
Comply with company safety guidelines 🛡️, wear PPE as required and use tools properly ; ensure all equipment in the area is in a safe condition ; ensure chemicals in the area are managed safely and in compliance with regulations.
Develop and implementation of PM and TPM procedures ⚙️ for wire extrusion machines, copper stranding machines, winding machines, wire cutting machines, braiding machines, and coating machines.
Oversee preventive maintenance 📊 and autonomous maintenance performance indicators: ensure achievement of key metrics such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.
Ensure preparing spare parts procurement plans 🔩 for the area and take responsibility for the quantity and quality of spare parts.
Execute new equipment introduction 🏗️, assist the supervisor in establishing equipment acceptance standards, and ensure IQ of new equipment is completed as required.
Arrange daily work 🤝 for wire department maintenance personnel, supervise their work discipline, and boost team morale.
Develop and implement routine maintenance 🔧 and repair plans for facility operations. Ensure the safety and normal functioning of water, electricity, gas, and related facilities.
Supervise all equipment usage ⚖️ and maintenance work in the area to ensure legal compliance.
Prepare and implement cost-saving project plans 💰 within the area.
Execute continuous improvement system 📈 and actively participate in point improvements and TPM activities.
Provide regular reports 📝 on area work during Equipment Department meetings.
Education: Full time bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Automation or Electronics. 🎓
Experience: More than 3 years in wire processing equipment maintenance. ⏳
Technical Skills: * Basic electrical knowledge ⚡, understanding of fundamental high-voltage circuits, and possession of an electrician’s license.
Solid knowledge of wire processing equipment and processes 🏭; able to independently perform maintenance and repairs on wire extrusion machines, stranding machines, winding machines, braiding machines, taping machines, and cutting machines, as well as troubleshooting various issues encountered in daily production.
Language: * Ability to speak English is required.
Proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
Soft Skills: Proactive communicator with strong reporting and training skills. 🗣️✨

Strong documentation and reporting skills 📄; capable of creating training materials and training technicians.
Good professional foundation, strong learning ability, and an outgoing personality. 💡
