Amphenol CMT is looking for a Cable Extrusion Technician to lead our extrusion team, solve production challenges, and ensure the highest quality in our cable manufacturing process.
Team Leadership: Manage, assess, and train the extrusion team operators. Organize daily workshop meetings to identify and improve process issues.
Production Management: Take responsibility for the extrusion process and solve technical abnormalities such as concentricity, adhesion, and appearance.
Technical Expertise: Select suitable extrusion dies for new products and set production parameters in cooperation with engineers.
Equipment Care: Oversee daily spot inspections and maintenance. Provide preliminary cause judgments for equipment abnormalities and coordinate with the maintenance team.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve operation methods and production technology. Propose improvements when process standards do not match actual production needs.
Reporting: Complete all assigned tasks on time and provide timely reports to the Technical Project Engineer
Education: High school degree or above.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in a cable factory.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in operating extruders (35#, 50#, 80#, traditional head, adjustable head).
Deep understanding of cable structures, electrical properties, and physical properties.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve extrusion problems independently.
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer operations, including making production reports in Excel and using printers.
Other requirements: Ability to train new operators and manage daily extrusion production.
