THE BRAND-OPENING CEREMONY OF CJ FOODS VIETNAM IN KIZUNA
On 25.2.2022, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Nguyễn Văn Út, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board – Nguyễn Thành Thanh attended the brand-opening ceremony of CJ Foods Vietnam – Kizuna Factory at Kizuna 3 Extension Workshop.
CJ Foods VN Long An Branch in Kizuna Zone was built with a total investment of $40 million including construction costs of $20 million and production equipment of $20 million, which was first built between March 2021 and January 2022. The total construction area is 40,000 m2 with four floors including production plant area, warehouse area, office area, R&D center and Food Safety Center (FSC).

With the main equipment installed are the most advanced production equipment such as specialized test equipment, specialized refrigeration equipment, automatic packaging line, continuous mixing system, retort (centrifugal sterilizer). CJ Foods VN factory Long An branch is considered one of the most modern food processing plants in Southeast Asia.
The plant is scientifically designed by separating areas for the production of non-halal products, halal products and vegan products
This plant is designed as a manufacturing facility for Vietnamese domestic products and global export products, as well as a research facility and a complex food safety center to meet the needs of consumers and buyers in the safest and fastest way.

The main products include kimchi, sandwich sausage, flour sausage, Mandu, Korean sauce, instant rice, porridge, silk rolls. In the future, we plan to expand more rice processed foods that contribute to Vietnam's agricultural development (rice snacks, seaweed products, pho noodles, etc.).

With the main equipment installed are the most modern production equipment, special inspection equipment, special refrigeration equipment, automatic packaging lines, continuous mixing system, retort... the first batch of the plant has a production capacity of 31,000 tons / year and planned to invest 100 million USD to increase the production capacity to 60,000 tons by 2025.
In addition, there are other equipment and facilities installed to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of workers.

On the occasion of this event, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Au, congratulated CJ Foods Vietnam Factory on the completion of construction work, officially put into operation, joining the community of enterprises investing, producing and doing business in Long An. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed enterprises to comply with the production process, maximize the capacity of the factory, strictly comply with the regulations on environmental protection and labor safety, coordinate well with the levels and sectors to develop mechanisms and policies to develop raw materials areas, especially in localities in the province.
